Linda R. McMillian holds both a Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in Organizational Management and Early Childhood Development and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Southern University in New Orleans. She is a PD Specialist with the Council for Professional Recognition which allows her to conduct verification visits with candidates to assess competency & support teacher’s growing skills. Also, she brings the mentoring / coaching skills and ECE expertise needed to facilitate the Candidate’s self-reflection and professional development required for a CDA (Child Development Associate). She is a Director IV and a Louisiana Pathways Trainer III.
Finally, she is a trainer and facilitator for Agenda for Children, a State Childcare Agency. Linda’s focus at the center is on local, state, and federal compliance and reporting. She’s also charged with overseeing grant funding and managing the business aspects of the center.
